Terms of Service

Effective Date: April 2026 | Applies to: All Shotgun Golf Locations & the Shotgun Golf Loyalty App

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using any Shotgun Golf facility, website (shotgungolf.ca), or the Shotgun Golf Loyalty mobile application (the “App”), you (“you” or “User”) agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use our services.

These Terms apply to all users of our services, including customers, members, and visitors. Shotgun Golf Inc. (“Shotgun Golf,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of our services following notice of changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years of age to use the Shotgun Golf Loyalty App independently
Users under 18 must have parental or guardian consent to participate in the loyalty program
You must provide accurate, current, and complete information when creating an account
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials
One account per person — multiple accounts created to obtain duplicate loyalty benefits are prohibited

3. Bookings, Cancellations & Refunds

Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours before the booking start time
No changes, cancellations, or refunds are permitted within 24 hours of the booking start time
Shotgun Golf may refuse cancellations or service to any user found to be abusing this policy
Refunds (full or partial) may be issued at Shotgun Golf’s sole discretion in exceptional circumstances
Sessions that end early or are cut short by the user are not eligible for partial refunds
If the projector or simulator becomes unavailable at the end of your booking due to session time expiring, you may book an additional session subject to availability
No-shows forfeit the full booking fee

4. Booker Responsibility & Guest Conduct

The individual who books a session (the “Booker”) is fully responsible for:

The conduct of all players, guests, and any other persons the Booker permits to enter the facility or bay during their session
Ensuring all guests comply with these Terms, the Waiver, and all posted rules at the location
Any damage, theft, litter, or policy violations caused by guests or persons admitted by the Booker
Supervising any minors present during the session (see Section 5)

Allowing unauthorized persons (including non-members, walk-ins, or members of the public) to enter the facility using your access code is strictly prohibited and may result in session cancellation, account suspension, and charges for the full applicable walk-in rate for each unauthorized guest.

5. Minors & Supervision

Shotgun Golf locations are automated, unstaffed facilities. The following rules apply to minors:

Users under 14 years of age must be accompanied and actively supervised at all times by a parent, legal guardian, or responsible adult aged 18 or older who has signed the Shotgun Golf Waiver on the minor’s behalf
Users aged 14 to 17 may use the facility without an adult present only with prior written consent from a parent or legal guardian and a signed Waiver. The parent or guardian remains responsible for the minor’s conduct and any damages
The adult Booker is responsible for ensuring that minors do not:
Operate or tamper with projectors, computers, TrackMan units, or other equipment beyond normal gameplay
Swing golf clubs in unsafe directions or in a manner that could injure others or damage the facility
Consume alcohol or use any restricted substances on the premises
Shotgun Golf reserves the right to refuse service or remove any unsupervised minor from the facility and to charge the Booker for any resulting damages or disruption

6. Facility Conduct, Food & Litter

Users are responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and condition of the space:

Clean up after your session. All garbage, food waste, beverage containers, and personal items must be placed in the provided bins before leaving
Food and drinks are permitted but must be consumed responsibly. Spills must be wiped up immediately
No glass containers on or near the hitting surface or turf areas
No outside alcohol is permitted at any location
Broken tees must be picked up and discarded; leaving tees on the hitting mat, turf, or floor is prohibited
Do not remove, reposition, or tamper with screens, projectors, TrackMan units, computers, turf, or any other facility equipment
Smoking, vaping, and cannabis use are strictly prohibited inside any Shotgun Golf facility

Littering and cleaning penalty: Users who leave a bay or facility in an unacceptable condition — including excessive garbage, food debris, spills, or broken tees left behind — will be charged a $150 cleaning fee per incident to the payment method on file. Repeat offences may result in account suspension.

7. Damage to Facility or Equipment

Users are responsible for all damage caused to the facility, equipment, or premises during their session, whether caused by the Booker, their guests, or persons admitted by the Booker.

Damage includes but is not limited to: torn or stained turf, damaged hitting mats, damaged impact screens, damaged projectors or TrackMan units, damaged computers or monitors, damaged furniture, wall damage, flooring damage, and damage caused by hitting balls incorrectly or at improper angles.

Indicative replacement costs (actual charges may vary based on current market pricing and repair quotes):

The Booker’s credit card on file will be charged for the full cost of repair or replacement at Shotgun Golf’s then-current rates
Users must immediately report any damage or malfunction to Shotgun Golf via the App or support email. Failure to report damage discovered after a session may result in the Booker being held responsible
Intentional damage or vandalism will result in permanent account termination, forfeiture of all Points and memberships, and may be reported to law enforcement
Video surveillance is in use at all locations for safety and damage attribution purposes

8. Rental Clubs

Rental clubs are available at select locations as displayed in the App and on the website.

Renters are responsible for inspecting rental clubs at the start of their session and reporting any pre-existing damage immediately to avoid being held liable
Renters are liable for any damage, loss, or theft of rental clubs during the rental period, beyond ordinary wear and tear
Damaged, lost, or stolen clubs will be charged to the renter’s payment method on file at the following replacement rates (or current market rate, whichever is higher):

Rental clubs must be returned to the designated return location at the end of the session
Clubs may not be removed from the facility under any circumstances. Removal of rental clubs from the premises will be treated as theft and may be reported to law enforcement, in addition to full replacement cost being charged

9. Loyalty Program Terms

9.1 Earning Points

Loyalty points (“Points”) are earned through qualifying activities as displayed in the App. Points are awarded at rates determined by Shotgun Golf and subject to change at any time without prior notice. Current earn rates are:

Booking sessions: 10 Points per $1 CAD spent (pre-tax), multiplied by your tier multiplier
Social media actions: as displayed in the App at time of action
Birthday bonus: awarded annually on your registered date of birth
Profile completion: one-time bonus upon completing your account profile
Migration bonus: one-time award for qualifying customers migrating from a previous loyalty program

Points are awarded on pre-tax amounts only. HST and other applicable taxes are excluded from Points calculations. Points have no cash value and are not redeemable for cash.

9.2 Tier System

The loyalty program operates on a five-tier system (Rookie, Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum) based on your rolling 30-day spend at Shotgun Golf locations. Tiers are recalculated automatically after each qualifying transaction. On the 1st of each month, your tier may be adjusted downward by one level if your 30-day spend falls below the threshold for your current tier. Active Members are guaranteed a minimum Silver tier for the duration of their active membership.

9.3 Redeeming Points

Points may be redeemed for booking credits as displayed in the App
Booking credits will be applied to your booking account within 24 hours of redemption
Credits must be used at the location selected at time of redemption
Redemptions are final and non-reversible once confirmed
Shotgun Golf is not responsible for credits that cannot be applied due to account inaccuracies

9.4 Points Expiry

Points expire after 12 consecutive months of account inactivity, defined as no Points earned or redeemed during that period. You will receive a push notification 30 days before your Points are scheduled to expire. Expired Points cannot be reinstated under any circumstances. Points expiry does not apply to accounts created within the first 12 months following the loyalty program launch date.

9.5 Promotional Multipliers

Shotgun Golf may activate time-limited promotional multipliers at its sole discretion. Promotions apply to qualifying transactions during the stated promotional period only. Promotional multipliers stack multiplicatively with tier multipliers, subject to a maximum combined multiplier cap as displayed in the App. Shotgun Golf reserves the right to cancel or modify promotions at any time.

9.6 Social Media Earning Actions

Certain Points are awarded based on social media actions, including following, liking, and story mentions of @shotgungolf.ca on Instagram. These actions are subject to the following conditions:

Instagram Follow and Like rewards are one-time or weekly honour-system claims
Instagram Story Mention rewards require screenshot submission and are subject to automated AI verification
Screenshots must clearly display the @shotgungolf.ca tag in an active Instagram story
Fabricated, edited, staged, or otherwise fraudulent screenshot submissions are strictly prohibited
Fraudulent submissions will result in permanent removal from all social media earning features, point deductions equal to any fraudulently obtained Points, and may result in account suspension
Shotgun Golf reserves the right to reverse any Points awarded based on fraudulent submissions at any time

9.7 Google Reviews

Points are awarded for leaving genuine Google reviews at qualifying Shotgun Golf locations. Reviews must be authentic and represent your genuine experience. Purchasing, exchanging, or soliciting reviews in violation of Google’s policies is prohibited. Points are awarded once per location per user.

10. Membership Terms

Shotgun Golf membership plans (“Membership”) provide a discount on session bookings and other benefits as described at the time of purchase. Memberships are personal and non-transferable. The Silver tier floor guarantee applies only while your Membership is active and in good standing. Memberships that expire or are cancelled will result in removal of the Silver tier floor, and your tier will be recalculated based on your 30-day spend.

11. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

Create multiple accounts to obtain duplicate loyalty benefits
Submit fraudulent, fabricated, or misleading screenshots or information
Attempt to manipulate, hack, or exploit the loyalty platform or App
Transfer, sell, or trade Points, access codes, or account access to any other person
Share access codes with non-paying guests or unauthorized persons
Use automated tools, bots, or scripts to interact with the App
Harass, threaten, or harm other customers or Shotgun Golf staff
Damage, deface, or tamper with facility equipment or property
Violate any applicable federal, provincial, or local laws or regulations

Shotgun Golf reserves the right to suspend or terminate your account, forfeit your Points balance, charge your payment method for damages or unpaid fees, refuse future service, and pursue legal remedies for violations of these Terms.

12. Modifications to the Program

Shotgun Golf reserves the right to modify, suspend, or terminate the loyalty program, change Points earn rates and redemption values, alter tier thresholds and multipliers, add or remove earning actions, and discontinue any feature at any time, with or without notice. Such changes will not entitle you to any compensation or refund for Points already earned but not yet redeemed.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved in the courts of Ontario.
