Hot Times and Gap Deals: How to Golf for Less at Shotgun Golf

Some hours on the booking calendar cost less than others. We mark them as deals, so you can play more for the same money if your schedule has a little give in it.

Two kinds of deal

Hot times are hours we expect to be quieter, discounted ahead of time. They usually need a minimum length: if your booking is too short, the page tells you (for example "Book 1 hour or more to get these deals") and gives you a button to switch.

Gap deals fill the time between two bookings on a bay. They work at any length that fits the gap, so they're perfect for a quick 30 or 60 minutes of practice.

How to find them

1. Open the booking page and choose your location.
2. Look at the calendar. Deal times are tinted and badged Hot time or Gap deal, and a note above the bays reads "Highlighted = deal".
3. Or tap By duration under the dates, pick how long you want to play, and check the Hot deals box: it lists today's deals for that length. Tap one to open it.
4. The booking sheet shows the deal and the price with it, for example "Hot time: 10% off". Tap Book as usual.

No deals showing? There aren't any that day, so try another day. Deals change as the calendar fills up, so it's worth a look before every booking.

Do deals stack?

Usually one discount applies at a time, and the booking site gives you the best price you qualify for. If you're a member, your member price and a deal don't combine: you get whichever is lower.
